Syrian swimmer Yusra Mardini and U.S hijabi fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad walked the ramp for the BOSS Spring/Summer 2023 presentation in Miami, on 15th of March, 2023.

Balancing the past and future was the underlying theme of the show. Inspired by the city where the showcase took place, BOSS channeled the duality and the creative enigma that lives between the abstract notion of opposing states. This idea was then incorporated to the label’s popular men’s tailoring by infusing sheer fabrics with structured looks.
Celebrities and athletes, including Yusra Mardini, Ibtihaj Muhammad, Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Law Roach, Khaby Lame, DJ Khaled, Alica Schmidt and Precious Lee walked the liquid-inspired show, as did Jordan Barrett, Naomi Watanabe, Gottmik, and Violet Chachki. A-listers on the front row featured house friends Maluma, Demi Lovato, Bella Thorne, Suki Waterhouse and Lucien Laviscount.
Building on this idea of progress and innovation, the latest line projected a lightweight, crinkled approach to materials, made up of a mix of soft silks and smooth nylons that are pressed and enriched with a layer of colour. Brand’s trademark tailoring such as the suit, shirting and the trench coat were reimagined in fresh hues. Retaining the label’s love for monochromatic, BOSS introduced white and camel to explore warm and muted hues to blend in with Miami’s Art-Deco architecture. Taking transparency as a continuous element, the set design had a modern, aquatic theme—making the entire venue appear as it was surrounded by walls of water. Models actually created an illusion as if they were actually walking on water.
The runway show was followed by an afterparty where everyone danced the night away with a live set by DJ Nasty and DJ Danny Daze. The latest collection is now available online at boss.com and in-store at BOSS retail points around the globe.
